THORNHILL, Ontario (MMD Newswire) November 24, 2009 -- My Five Autobiographies is Miriam Slozberg's first book. After learning about her past lives, Slozberg decided to write about it for healing reasons, as well as to help others realize that there is a reason behind why people are dealt with the hands that they are.

Slozberg's My Five Autobiographies covers her recent past lives which had taken place in 1700's Kenya, late 1700's Colonial America, Victorian Britain, and her last torturous life that took place in Auschwitz during WWII. Slozberg believes strongly that her demons that she has had to face through out her life had stemmed mostly from her last horrific life in the Holocaust.

Miriam Slozberg book

We are here to balance karma from previous incarnations as well as to heal from our last life which creates many internal struggles.

Certified Astrologer Miriam Slozberg's, My Five Autobiographies (now available through iUniverse) has first written her book in order to understand why she has had to face her many challenges.

Slozberg gained an understanding as to why she is dealing with the challenges that she is currently experiencing. She also gained an understanding as to why she fell into an esoteric field such as astrology, and why she has battled food addiction.

Slozberg has always possessed an extreme interest in occult matters, and besides astrology she has studied numerology and tarot. She was born and raised in the Toronto area, and has been married for over ten years with two children. Slozberg has done a fair bit of traveling through out North America as well as in Western Europe, and hopes to do more exploring in the future. Slozberg is currently working on her second book.

Author and professional speaker Tom Leech recalls his six-month journey around 27 countries in 1968 in On the Road in '68

SAN DIEGO, CA (MMD Newswire) January 4, 2010 -- In On the Road in '68: A Year of Turmoil, a Journey of Friendship, author Tom Leech looks back on the year of 1968 when he was a young, budget-conscious traveler and presents a review of the year, the places he visited, and many of the people he met from his perspective four decades later.

"The year 1968 has been marked by many observers as the most tumultuous year of the last half-century," notes Leech. "Books, magazines and TV specials have described the disturbances, confrontations and violence that occurred worldwide in that year." In that same year, author Leech interrupted his career plans and headed off with a chum from his home base in San Diego for a three-month visit to Europe. When his friend returned to San Diego, Leech made the decision to seize a "once in a lifetime" opportunity and keep traveling. What transpired was a round-the-world journey lasting six-months, during which he visited 27 countries, broadened his knowledge of the world, and had ample opportunities for engaging in communication with people from different cultures.

Despite the major confrontations and violence in many of the places he visited - Paris, Belfast, Kashmir and Vietnam - to name just a few, Leech recalls the most significant memory of his travels was the hospitality and kindness of strangers and fellow wanderers, many of whom he remained in contact with over the years.

Inspired by the enjoyable encounters throughout his journey, Leech wrote On the Road in '68 to spread the lessons he learned to all readers. Leech says, "The strongest and most lasting memories come from the people you meet along the way."

On the Road in '68: A Year of Turmoil, a Journey of Friendship is available for sale online at Amazon.com and through additional wholesale and retail channels worldwide.
